The bowls are composed of Silica Quartz. The silica is in the form of sand. The sand is fired to 4000 degrees centigrade where it melts. The frosted style bowls are formed in molds and finished off by hand that includes tuning it to a musical note.
Each crsytal singing bowl is crafted to be sturdy and durable. They vary in size from 6 inches on up to 24 inches. Generally, the larger the bowl, the longer the sound will reverberate and the lower the pitch will be.
